black and gold.

Just a short post of an outfit I wore last week having dinner with my family. It was a really expensive restaurant, so had to get dressed up a little. I chose black tights, high waisted shorts and as an eyecatcher the sequined snake print jacket by Primark. The dinner was fine, but not as good as its price. Maybe you already saw me that day, following on Facebook?! ;-)

electric blue nails.

I'm still doubtful about the electric blue Astor nail polish above. I think it is kind of that polish, which really has to match with the complete outfit. In this case I really like it, because of its shiny effect. The shirt you see here, is the one I already wore with pink pants some days ago. In my opinion wearing glitter items is a simple possibility to grade up and ennoble daily looks. So don't hesitate to combine your party pieces! (Don't forget your nails either!) :-)

you look like a farmer's wife.

"You look like a farmer's wife!" That was the compliment that first came into my boyfriend's mind seeing me. But I don't really think so. I kept tabs on that ZARA skirt for nearly half a year now and finally bought it as an employee purchase. I love that kind of brown and I think it is also wearable in autumn/winter, with tights under it and combined with big wool pullovers :-)

riding star.

What you see above, is a combination of my current favourite colors: dark orange, dark brown and golden accessory. I think I don't really have to tell you why... You all know my new baby Alexa and inspired by her, my eyes seek for matching pieces now everywhere I go. What I already owned are the brown riding boots by Bianco (last winter season). I still love them so much, they are perfectly what I came up with. Last monday, I bought that special brown belt at Urban Outfitters. It fits so well, doesn't it? :-) Click here to follow via Facebook / Bloglovin.

old tree.

Taking a walk in the nature, I of course had to wear green pants as well. They are cut like chinos, but feel as comfortable as jogging pants. Maybe you already figured out how often I wear the orange glitter jacket :-D I hope you are not yet bored, I just love its cut, its color, its glitter and buttons. And I've got an excuse: living from the suitcase isn't easy at all ;-)

Ring: H&M

silver shimmer.

One of the last looks I created living out of my suitcase: new silver sweater and pink ZARA pants, combined with pink flats (not the best choice, but the only at least half-matching ones in my luggage) and a huge golden ASOS necklace. I'm in love with big necklaces at the moment. There are some more waiting to be shot. Have a great weekend everybody :-)

the castle's garden.

Let's go on with some of the pics we shot at Goslar. Some said I looked like ready for fashion week that day, although I just wore my vintage Levi's and a white shirt. But I think the sunglasses made it... What is your current obsession guys? I really have to realign now :-D Mulberry Alexa had always been my biggest shopping aim and I have to make new wishes now. Like the Alexander Wang Rocco. Although I'm not a fan of black bags, I love the one with its golden studs. Aaaaah you see I'm a crazy shopper. A girl always has a reason to buy a bag. Or shoes. Or accessories. :-)

Alexa appearing in public.

Although I have like a million photos left to show you, I prefer to take the ones of Alexa and me for today, first time appearing in public. These are the pictures of last monday, when Timo and I decided to take a walk in our wonderful hometown Hamburg. Since we both not had to work that day, we enjoyed sunshine without any pressure. I wore a simple creation of jeans and flouncy shirt, just to present my bag as the main part ;-) Ooooh I still can't stop looking at it. So lucky!

on the lawn.

Yes we even had one sunny day in Goslar. And this is what I chose to wear: short skirt, orange glitter jacket and flashy lips. Since we had school from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm every single day, there wasn't a chance for going out or enjoy the weather... The lipstick I chose here, is a new one in my collection: Manhatten Perfect Creamy & Care 34N. Not long ago, orange was my hate-color and I would have refused to wear anything in orange. But now I really recovered that color again and my eyes seek for special and shrill pieces. Maybe you'd like to check my friend's new blog, which is called Vogue Wired. I told her about mine and my wonderful readers (YOU YOU YOU) and I think she got kind of jealous ;-) So just have a look if you like.

soft waves.

These are some snapshots we took at our balcony in Goslar, during the last week. Since we heard about a vintage market taking place in Goslar that day, we ran like crazy through the city and the rain. Finally arriving we recognized our informant was wrong and the vintage market took place anywhere else. Aaaargh! But all that stress ended up in wonderful curly hair :-) Too cool for not taking pictures. Combined with my wonderful new and large Indian necklace and a simple look of shorts and shirt- it felt so good!

my own Mulberry Alexa ♥

This is so unbelievable. So unexpected. Something I never dared dreaming of. Something I always was attracted to, but would have never come true. Who spends 980 EUR for a bag? Noone. Not even me. Not yet. But I do not have to think about it anymore! One of my biggest (shopping) dreams came true. I really won an 800 EUR shopping order on Unique Way!! I'm still too excited for words and now that my dream bag arrived I just can't stop looking at it. It didn't take long to think about it and my choice was: Mulberry Alexa in chocolate brown. Since it costs 980 EUR I had to spend some money as well- but it is so worth it!! What would have been your choice?
By the way: the outfit is the one I wore yesterday for driving home. My lovely leo blazer, one of my favorite pieces and the short Levi's. The big picture of me in front of Dior was taken by my friend Lena in Paris a month ago and my Dad gave it to me as a surprise, which I really really love. Don't forget to follow on Facebook ;-)

70ies glitter.

Finally back home from two boring and long weeks in Goslar. In the meanwhile I had a lot of time taking some pictures and the city afforded the best location. Goslar is an old imperial center where historic churches and castles are placed. I loved running through the city, although we had the worst weather :-( I hope you are as excited as I am, most of the photos we took are damn cool... Did you ever had that kind of luck that droves you crazy? Maybe you follow via Facebook and you already know what I mean. Last week, I really won a 800 EUR giveaway from Unique Way, an online luxury shopping side. Wanna' now what I chose? I'm gonna show you tomorrow. It really is an unbelievable something- already in my arms :-))

30 fashion designers you should know... #24

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER

He uses underwear as outerwear, puts men in women's clothes, brings fetish clothing and camp clichés to the catwalk and shatters as many taboos as no other designer. He's the one responsible for Madonna's famous corset with conical cups. He is the couturier dusting off haute couture with radical ideas. He's the one who brings the young audience to fashion shows. Jean Paul Gaultier soon insurged people's attitude towards life and abandoned his education at eighteen without graduating. He went straight to the studio of the designer Pierre Cardin, to whom he had sent illustrations and so impressed that he was offered a job. For six years Gaultier tried to get a foothold in various couture houses, but finally ended up with twenty-four and his own label. His big coup, 1983: the corset dress. Gaultier integrated undergarments into evening fashion. 1985: the man's skirt. Gaultier designed such controversials that models refused their job. And that was when provocation had acquired a new name: Jean Paul Gaultier. He became the rock star among designers. Gaultier mixed East and West, classic and punk, masculine and feminine. But despite all the broken rules (Gaultier is also known as "enfant terrible"), he never neglected his fashion's quality.

a wedding dress?

I hope you remember my post about Sarah Burton? If not, you should go for it! I think you all know why... From time to time I have such succes finding items my little heart is dreaming of. The last fabulous and unforgettable purchase was my leo blazer by ZARA. But this week, an ASOS package arrived and although I didn't had a reason wearing it, I just have to show you. It's a special edition dress by ASOS Petite (but I think it's also available in Curve). Isn't it wonderful?

new sunglasses.

Oh dear, the last week was full of exciting experiences. I spent the days in the ZARA store, which now is my new home for half a year. You can imagine how great and at the same time crazy it is, working for the coolest low cost fashion company. On tuesday and thursday the new collection arrived and I can't explain my feelings. Oh my God, how wonderful is the new season's fashion?? I purchased some items which were on sale (every day a little), my ASOS package arrived (and WOW! I can't wait to show you what was in there!) and I found this wonderful Ralph Lauren sunglasses, which I felt were like made for me. How do you like them? Now I have to prepare some more post (are you ready for some more fashion designers?) for the following days, because I have to go South for two weeks now. School is waiting. Hope to be back soon. Love xxx Remember to follow via Facebook!

my new employer.

Oh my, what a wonderful start! It all began with a huge welcome, hugs and a big cornet, filled with sweets and little presents- normally given to children in Germany on their first day at school. Of course we had a round, talking about us, the company and the next three years. The formation needs 1,5 years, followed by another 1,5 years further training. And finally I will be a ZARA branch manager. We had breakfast and lunch, everything organized by ZARA. A great day, although I had to come home carrying the cornet (guess how embarrassing that was), carrying my handbag, another bag for the file folder and one more for Arizona Ice Tea, only available in some shops in Hamburg. Haha, God that was so hard. But I made it :-) Today I spent the day in the branch. It was so cool. And straining. But I felt so welcomed. And how they decorated my wardrobe (the inside was pasted with wine gums)! I've got wonderful colleagues and had so much fun. Yeah let's go to work :-D
