Yes, finally Saturday! Or what I prefer to say: "the-day-I-came-back-home-from-two-weeks-deadly-dullness-at-the-end-of-the-world". What I did first was to pack out all my parcels waiting for me for a too long time. My new iPhone 4S (in white ♥), four iPhone cases (Rabito in pink, bling bling, a Gameboy and a pink cassette), a huge bag from Ernsting's Family, a parcel from Jeffrey Campbell including three pairs of God-given shoes and two pants from Gang Fashion. Half time! One week's over and now we've got only seven days left until coming home (and until the giveaway is running out). Ernsting's Family fashion show.

After three days of hardcore Fashion Week shinding, there was one show left: Ernsting's Family. The event took place at 5* Side Hotel in my beloved hometown Hamburg. Lucky me, I worked on a early shift, so that I could attend. The appetizers were great as always and the show a big surprise: Germanys next Topmodel elite, Mirja du Mont (model and wife :-P), Shermine Shahrivar (Miss Europe 2005), Jo Weil (German actor) and other well known people. As my personal highlight, I just had to mark any items I'd like to receive, hihi what a dream. Hope to show you soon. Finally, we got a huge goodie bag containing scarfs and jewelry. You like that floral ring? Thanks to Ernsting's Family for that great, funny and colorful evening.

Yes, Fashion Week's over and after two long weeks it's finally time for a conclusion. It was my first visit on Fashion Week ever, including my first runway show ever and the first time I attended the fashion folk in the tent. I was caught by so many impressions, by so many people and so many styles. Invited to thirty shows and five exhibitions, my days were just too short and the less power I got left, the more impressions I collected. My personal highlight: BLAME (see the post), which was exposed as an installation in the MBFW Studio. I'm so in love with those designs... By the way, I would like to thank all the designers and PR agencies, who invited me. It was a real pleasure and I would love to come back next season!

As the grand finale, the designer himself run as a model (and I was admittedly surprised how self-confident he presented that female role).

The shut down airport Berlin Tempelhof served as a great and incredibly huge location, so that even three days wouldn't have been enough for visiting. MBFW AW'12: Blame

After the show of Anja Gockel on Friday, we continued our fashion week marathon with the installation of Blame, fashion by the designer duo Sarah Büren and Sonja Hodzode, who already worked for such luminaries as Marc Jacobs, Hugo Boss, Michael Michalsky and Preen. The young women launched their own label in Berlin in the winter of 2010 and created a brand "that places its emphasis on timelessness and a love of detail". The designs were high class and very surprising, so that I recognized more and more details, the longer I looked at the collection. Sober colors with neon stitching, lace parts, great collars, cut-out leather, floral prints. What sounds like a wild mixture of everything, proved to be a harmonizing and finally strong collection, all made of the best fabrics. I'm dying for that scarf!

Second day at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. My first show of the day: Anja Gockel. "Celebrate fashion- celebrate life", what an honor to be invited to celebrate 15 years Anja Gockel. The models were high class, just as the guests. The giveaway bags were huge and the collection fabulous, the whole show amazing. Anja Gockel engaged Franziska Knuppe and Veruschka von Lehndorf (German actress and model) as her top stars. The designs were a mixture of prêt-à-porter fashion and gowns, in different combinations with colorful dots, fur and tweed. Happy anniversary!

Our first day ended up with three shows at Lavera Showfloor: Julia Starp (Prêt-à-Porter), Göttin des Glücks (Urban Wear) and Lars Wallin (Haute Couture). Julia Starp's collection was very wearable with a lot of colorful elements like tights and scarfs. The "designs" of Göttin des Glücks were just too bad to show you. Washed out cotton, homewear, joggers and hoodies- everything in horrible colors. Brrrr. Finally Lars Wallin saved the mood and presented his fabulous creations: fury elements, sequins, feathers, silky fabrics.

MBFW AW'12: Sava Nald

First day in Berlin, second show at Hotel Adlon-Kempinski: Sava Nald. While waiting for the show, we visited the Green Showroom, also located there, which concentrated on organic designs. There were some beautiful pieces and I found out that fish leather is the newest trend (see the big bracelets below). Having drinks, I also shot some German models, singers, actors... I was really surprised to see which wonderful and famous models ran for Sava Nald (Franziska Knuppe, Sara Nuru...). The show started with a short video intro, surrounded by piano live music. The collection was really romantic and classy, with a lot of fluent and silky fabrics. You should have a look at it the video below.

My Berlin Fashion Week has started! My first stop was the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Studio, where the installation of beautiful Karlotta Wilde took place. Her designs are significantly strong and clean, with pleated and undone fabrics, strikingly nonchalant. I also really loved those little details like metal belts or neon parts. Having the best weather, we decided to take a sunday walk on a dike near the Elbe. Did you recognize that totally blue sky? Our dogs went like crazy and just couldn't stop playing. I wore my plaid ZARA coat from last season, basic jeans, boots by River Island and to top it all: Ray Ban Aviator. Just love them! Looking forward: I'm now going to pack my Fashion Week's suitcase, tomorrow coiffeur and finally an ASOS package with some little beauties hihihi. Can't wait for Thursday. The first sunny day in 2012. I chose to wear striped tights, snake boots and my first and one and only turtleneck, bought on ZARA sale last week. I actually don't like turtlenecks, but that one is very wide and airy, so that I don't get anxiety :-D It's pretty hard to create new looks these days, already having others and better ones on my mind- made for fashion week. Only four days left and I'll leave for Berlin!

KENZO TAKADA

Originally born in Himeji, Japan in 1939, Kenzo Takada enrolled in the well-known Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo at the age of nineteen and as one of the first males to do so. Seven years later he moved to Paris on a six-week sea journey, had little money, knew no one, spoke not a word of French. But that man was not one to give up easily. It took him five years to raise the money to open his first boutique, just around the corner from the Palais Royal. Kenzo renovated and decorated his boutique Jungle Jap, inspired by the jungle paintings of Henri Rousseau. In 1970 he opened its doors and Kenzo showed his first collection with fabrics bought at bargain prices from a nearby market. Popularity increased and Jungle Jap soon became the favorite label of young fashionable models. Kenzo invented the ethnic look, combining colors, patterns, cuts and style elements from all over the world. It was the time when people were on a spiritual journey all around the world and the hippie style was all the rage. Small presentations where totally overwhelmed with succes, his seamstresses could no longer keep up with the flood of orders and his designs were being copied everywhere. With his innovative ideas, Kenzo proved to the Paris fashion scene that even a non-Frenchman could build up and direct a French fashion house. At the age of sixty, Kenzo Takada announced his retirement. Since 2003 Sardinian Antonio Marras, now artistic director of the house, has been quite succesful continuing Kenzo's concept of a multicolor journey around the world.

Late night shopping at H&M online: it was the 14th of december, midnight, and I decided to have a try on Trish Summerville and her "Girl with the dragon tattoo"-collection. I finally got the package today and can't believe how cool the items are. I'm already sad about not odering both faux leather pants (they were only 20€!!). The leather jacket is high quality, comfortable and that great cut with those biker details, always remind me of turtles. The faux leather pants also fit very well and I just love that urban red. What I also ordered were the black used denim, which doesn't fit and the white top, but its cut is too airy for me ;-) What about those sunnies? They're on sale and I already fell in love.

Guys, the weather is horrible, but I can't change and posting must go on! So here are some pics from the inside: tulle skirt in combination with my DIY lace blouse. Those days are so exciting since my first Fashion Week invitations arrived and visiting the Bread & Butter is save :-) If you are a fan of Versace for H&M, you should check the online shop these days. The whole collection is highly reduced and the stuff costs like nothing. I'm still waiting for the Trish Summerville package. Already seven days and it wasn't even shipped yet. Hrrrm.

Because of my ZARA Christmas staff party, I spent Saturday night in Berlin. It was the first time our year met the other trainees and we all were so excited. To have a little get-together, we had drinks and fun in PLAY BERLIN, a bar and lounge equipped with TVs and Wii paddles. Playing "Just Dance" was so funny, although it turned out I'm not a succesful Wii dancer :-D Later on, we went to party at MIO, a great (and glittering!) club at the bottom of the television tower. Sometimes I've got that kind of luck, unexpected and so overwhelming that I can't believe. Sometimes it's money I win, a Mulberry Alexa, different presents from different brands supporting my work on the blog, my first invitation for the Fashion Week... ♥ What made me go crazy this time, was winning tickets for the pre-party of the Jolie Beauty Night in Hamburg, including make-up, hairstyle, snacks, drinks, good music, a photoshoot and goodie bag. It was a fabulous night and my first time getting maked up. A very cool experience and I loved the result. Did you ever wear real fur? This is a rabbit fur vest I received from Rich & Royal and because of my conscience, I first had to check where they get the fabrics from. The PR agency told me, that Rich & Royal invariably works with fur, which remained of useful animal husbandry. Although I don't like thinking about people eating bunnies, I can't do anything against it and I think that IF wearing fur, it's important to know where it comes from (or rather resist wearing it). So, admittedly, this vest is very cuddly and chic, but what I loved most, is this wonderful half brown/half grey jeans. Damn great fabrics and I just have to have it.

We found this Mediterranean place in our hotel garden and directly decided to have a little shoot. I loved how the colors matched with my look. It took a million years to get this sweater! But finally it's in my hands and I can't stop looking at it. I ordered at the end of october and received it just now, after nearly 4 weeks. Maybe you already imagine I didn't agreed with those circumstances and stressed the employees of Monsieur Steve to hurry up. Luckily for me, I was offered to choose a shirt for free, since the sweater was out of stock and I had to wait some more days. Anyway, do you love it as I do? Hello again! Here I am back again from another week far from home. Tenerife. What an island. Landing in the sunny south of the isle: dry air, sere countryside, no flowers, no green, hills over hills. Driving to the north: colors, trees, plants, humidity and rain. Yes, it wasn't as sunny as expected, but we spent a great week on Tenerife anyway. The temperatures rose up to 25°C and it was wonderful to carry out my summer clothes again. So here are my first pics of the trip. What do you like better? The shots at the beach or the ones on the typical Canarie's door? :-)

Just back from Hannover, I had 36 hours to pack out all my bags, have a look at a mass of parcels (samples I received from different brands ♥), eat a huge steak (finally something tasty!), spend some time with my family and love, get refreshed, take some pics of my wonderful Urban Outfitters coat, which I just bought on sale that day, pack the suitcase with summer clothes again, eat another steak (yes indeed I needed some real food :-)) aaand find a winner for my giveaway, in collaboration with Vigonace.

Last night Jaana (Vogue Wired) and I decided to party at Gina Tricot Shopping Mingle, which took place in their branch in Hannover. From 8pm to 10pm they offered free drinks and snacks, 20% on everything and, what was the most important for two fashion bloggers: the best dressed contest. One girl, who got best dressed that evening, should win a 100 EUR gift card. We were excited to win and dressed up ourselves with every possibility our suitcases offer (we're still on the seminar, you know). Finally me wearing the silver ZARA skirt, black tights and Primark wedges, as well as the black shirt by H&M and big silver necklace as an eyecatcher. Jaana wearing her sequined skirt (also ZARA) and my Karl's cravat top, all combined with black wedges as well. All in all, really good looks. Self-confident like little princesses, we had drinks, fun, good conversations and found a lot of cute items. Everyone was asking us to take part at the contest, some even asked where to buy my shoes. We got great chances, since the branch wasn't as visited as expected and it seemed like nobody was dressed up anyway. The photographer took about 8 (?) pics of young girls who wanted to win. Including us. Finally at 9pm they shouted out who should win: the girl next door, wearing old sneakers, straight cut jeans, poncho and a frayed ponytail. The whole store, including like 10 customers, the employees and DJ were like: WHAT? Nobody applauded and the whole scene was too embarrassing to find any other words. No exaggeration: that girl really was the most underdressed of all. We went to the cashpoint and left the store. A few minutes later the DJ called us back and gave us a sample of his music saying: "Girls, I'm so sorry you didn't win. I don't know what they were thinking, you both look so pretty!" Haha that was so cute and he really spoke out what everyone else was thinking. Having a look at our goodie-bag later on, we found a 1 EUR mini umbrella by Gina Tricot (yes the price tag was still there)... So as a conclusion we're pretty disappointed about the corrupt decision of the branch manager (?), choosing a girl (who definitely was one of her friends) to win 100 EUR for nothing. I'm even not sure about, whether they really took a picture of her or not. We're not at all sad about the price, but about the apparently insidious decision of the lady. Thumbs down for Gina Tricot!

We always fixed the view from our classroom: pure autumnal atmosphere, rustic masonry, beautiful place for taking some pictures. So we took the chance and shot while having break. The colors are so beautiful, that I even didn't need to photoshop. Maybe you already recognized my new green parka. It is entirely lined and so warm and comfortable. I found it as an individual item (in my size!) near the checkout and felt like I just had to buy it.

Another something from Hannover Primark rush: silky vintage scarf. I loved the combination of colors and prints and couldn't go wrong for 4,00 EUR. Having my too little (but pink!) suitcase here (we still have a seminar until the 12th of november), I tried my best doing a great job combining suede pants, white shirt and grey blazer. Does it fit? I'm happy for any opinions! Yesterday I received another invitation for a really cool pressday in Hamburg. Yes of course, it's the 10th of november, when I'll be sitting here, learning for the last tests. In conclusion, I miss out on three pressdays now. Too bad :-(
